Masterclass in Therapeutic Freestyle Massage (in collaboration with the International Massage Association)

In collaboration with the International Massage Association (IMA). Ecole Setsuko is offering an IMA Masterclass in Therapeutic Freestyle Massage. The course will also contain a short seminar in how to participate well at Massage Championships and another short seminar of the benefits of Chair massage.

Teacher and developer: Jeppe Tengbjerg (The Founder and CEO of the International Massage Association and organizer of the World Championship in Massage). Teacher of Massage in 24 years.

Assistent Teacher and Translater: Karine Boivin (Award Winning Massage Therapist from Montreal, Canada) with 20 years of experience.

Course description: Therapeutic Freestyle Massage techniques focus on the importance of flexibility and relaxation. The massage methods are a series of compound massage exercises and stretching of muscles, tendons and fascia. The techniques cover all major and minor muscle groups. During the course, we will immerse ourselves in the physiological properties and reactions of the massage to the treatment, making it easier to choose the right techniques in the future. With this background, you as a therapist can tailor your approach to the individual client’s problems and at the same time make it an extremely pleasant treatment to receive. The Teaching will be in both English and French.

Diploma: A certificate is given to each students after successfull completion of the course.
