This hands-on workshop is designed for Shiatsu and Acupressure students eager to expand their skills in prenatal care. Rooted in holistic principles, the course offers an integrative approach to supporting clients through the entire journey of parenthood: fertility, pregnancy, birth preparation, and labor support.
Participants will learn:
- Specialized techniques for addressing physical and emotional shifts during pregnancy.
- How to adapt Shiatsu and Acupressure methods for prenatal clients safely and effectively.
- Strategies to assist with common discomforts like back pain, swelling, and fatigue.
- Tools to support relaxation, improve circulation, and prepare the body for labor.
- Techniques to assist during labor, promoting comfort and facilitating progress.
This workshop emphasizes the connection between practitioner and client, utilizing floor-based techniques to foster grounding, flow, and comfort.
