As part of the Community Herbalist Certificate Program, the Fabrication series is designed to give you hands-on experience creating a wide range of herbal preparations. Each session focuses on a specific category of remedies, teaching you not only how to make them but also the properties of the plants used, safe practices, and ways to integrate these preparations into personal wellness and community care.
Over five progressive modules, you will:
- Fabrication 1 – Vinegars + Syrups
Learn to create flavorful herbal vinegars and nourishing syrups that preserve plant benefits and support everyday health. - Fabrication 2 – Teas, Infusions, Decoctions, Salts
Explore foundational water-based remedies, from simple herbal teas to therapeutic infusions, decoctions, and mineral-rich bath salts. - Fabrication 3 – Salves, Oils, Creams
Craft topical preparations to soothe, protect, and heal the skin while understanding oil extraction and formulation techniques. - Fabrication 4 – Tinctures + Marketing & Regulations
Master alcohol-based herbal extractions and gain essential knowledge about selling and sharing your products safely and legally. - Fabrication 5 – Fermentation
Discover how fermentation can enhance both the flavor and medicinal value of herbs through preparations like herbal kombucha, meads, and more.
This series builds confidence and skill, preparing you to work with herbs creatively and responsibly, whether for personal use or as part of your herbal practice. $150 per session
