Taddaw Acance (aka Star) is the founder and lead therapist of The Healing Star in Chicago. Her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist has spanned day spas, sports clubs, classrooms, and championship stages since 2019.
Taddaw has competed and medaled at the state, national, and international level – including the Gold🥇Medal in Swedish Massage at the IMA 2024 World Massage Championships.
She currently serves as the Chicago Regional Director for the Nuad Thai and Spa Association of America, an NCBTMB Approved Provider, and has recently helped judge, organize, and demonstrate at prestigious massage competition events in the US, Japan, and Canada.
In addition to her 2024 World Gold Medal, other notable accomplishments from 2023-2024 include multiple Gold and Silver medals at the state level, along with a Silver and Bronze at the American Massage Championships.
