HR2: Supervision

Contact us for schedule
Prerequisites:  None

Relational health is established and maintained by our ability to be present with the clients that will come to form our clientele. Beyond the intention that we each have to welcome the other exactly as they are, there is the undeniable presence of our respective ‘I’  acting out this intention to welcome, and at times derailing it. Essentially, a person’s capacity to relate to another depends first and foremost on their ability to relate to themselves authentically. Being a therapist, whatever your modality is, is both rewarding and   challenging. When you think of it, you have only one instrument: your body- and your intention to remain open and aware.

Group Supervision for Therapists

Being a therapist means showing up fully present for our clients—yet this first requires the ability to relate authentically to ourselves. Our presence, awareness, and body are our main instruments, but they are often shaped by our own histories, defenses, and blind spots. Supervision offers a safe and supportive space to explore these dynamics and strengthen our capacity to remain open, aware, and grounded in our work.

In this monthly group, we look at the client through the lens of the therapist, uncovering how past wounds and survival strategies can influence practice. Through group reflection, we develop greater self-awareness, compassion, and equanimity. Over time, the group itself becomes a secure container, building trust, a shared language, and a deeper integration of presence and relational awareness.

Topics include: Oneness, Confidentiality, Projection & Transference, Reactions & Responses, Dual Relationships, Archetypes, Trauma, Tolerance & Equanimity, Cultivating the New, Peer Supervision.
