Thai Massage Level 2 – Intermediate Nuad Bo-Rarn expands upon Level 1 by introducing side-lying, back-lying, and seated positions. Students learn advanced stretches, spinal and scapular techniques, and fluid transitions to offer 90–120 minute treatments with greater therapeutic depth. The course integrates mindful movement, breath awareness, and precise body mechanics for safe and effective practice. Graduates who pass the final exam receive an internationally recognized ITM Chiang Mai Certificate, now included in the tuition.

Course Description

Continue your journey into the art of Thai Massage with this intermediate-level training. Building upon the foundations from Level 1, students are introduced to the side-lying, back-lying (prone), and seated positions of traditional Nuad Bo-Rarn.
Through guided practice and precise instruction, you’ll explore deeper stretches, spinal mobilization, scapular release techniques, and refined transitions that allow you to deliver 90–120 minute treatments with greater therapeutic impact and fluidity.

Learning Outcomes

  • Perform complete Thai Massage sequences in side, prone, and seated positions
  • Deliver advanced stretches for the back, hips, shoulders, and spine
  • Transition smoothly between positions with confidence and stability

Course Content Includes

  • Side-Lying Sequence: hip mobilizations, shoulder stretches, spinal twists
  • Prone Sequence: back line acupressure, scapular release, cobra and locust stretches
  • Seated Sequence: shoulder work, neck release, spinal mobilization
  • Techniques Covered: PP, TP, EP (elbow press), PC (palm circles), and dynamic stretches
  • Client communication and adaptive techniques
  • Daily mantra and energy-awareness practices
  • Pedagogy and Practice
  • Demonstration and supervised partner practice
  • Emphasis on advanced sequencing, flow, and proper body mechanics
  • Integration of mindfulness and breath with movement
  • Personalized feedback and corrections to refine touch and technique
  • Use of Thai terminology and illustrated diagrams

Assessment

  • Final Practical Exam: 90 minutes (100% of final grade; minimum 70% required)
  • Case Studies: 15 practice sessions (90 minutes each)
  • Attendance: Minimum 90%

Certification

Graduates who successfully complete the course and practical exam with a minimum of 70% will receive an internationally recognized ITM Chiang Mai Certificate, now included in the course tuition.
