Description

The Maximum Efficiency Techniques (M.E.T.) Workshop is designed to change the way you work — helping you achieve better client results with less energy while keeping your body safe and injury-free.

M.E.T. is a system of massage techniques developed by Kevin Qian, a sports massage expert and 2022 Canadian Massage Champion. After years of battling fatigue and injury from overworking his body, Kevin created a smarter way to deliver powerful treatments without burning out.

This workshop dives into efficient body mechanics, smart pressure application, and movement-based techniques that reduce strain on your hands, wrists, and shoulders — while still giving your clients maximum relief.

What You’ll Learn in the M.E.T. Workshop:

  • Upper Back Techniques: Techniques designed to release tight traps, rhomboids, and the thoracic spine — with minimal effort.
  • Neck Techniques: Precision-focused methods that target stubborn neck tension without straining your thumbs or fingers.
  • Lower Back Techniques: Learn strategic positioning and movement-based methods to work deeply without exhausting your arms.
  • Injury Prevention Strategies: Tips on protecting your joints, improving posture, and maintaining longevity in your practice.
  • Body Mechanics Mastery: Discover how to position yourself to maximize force while minimizing fatigue.

Why Learn From Kevin?

Kevin combines his background in sports massage, myofascial work, and movement therapy with years of practical experience. As a former dancer turned therapist, he understands what it means to push your body — and knows how to teach you techniques that deliver power without pain.
